Getting Back To God

“In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and Word was God.” ~John 1:1

On December 9, 2018, I decided that I needed to challenge myself to gain a new good habit and that is to make time to have Devotion with God. My devotional time usually includes reading my devotional Book called Moments with God for Moms by Karen Stubbs that I ordered on Amazon, Bible passage from a reading plan that found on Pinterest and then I do prayer time by writing in my Prayer Journal. I have been lacking on my devotional time but I don’t have the lack of time to read, I just lacked in determination to read my bible. I have tried to have devotional time in the morning but my boy wakes up early or wait until bedtime and that time of the day I am just tired either I listen to music or go to bed. During the day, I know that I have a lot of time on my hands ( not saying I am Lazy). I do sit and watch my son play on the ground or he is cuddling on my lap (no naps), and I don’t do chores all day. The time that I am sitting on my chair during the day, I can do my devotional. Sometimes Mama’s have to be creative in many things they want to pursue. I have written down in my reading plan for this month in my planner and will be checking it off each day that I have read. This Reading Plan is a 20 Days that is surround around Jesus and his Birth, it was simple. When I am done with the 20 day reading plan I will be posting on how I feel about my new habit in progress and if it has changed me.
